Current paid vacancies:
We are seeking someone to co-ordinate, maintain and log our assets including our Hospice Loan equipment.
20 hours per week, 4 hours per day.
Hospice Mid-Northland has loan equipment available to support patients with a terminal illness in the mid-north community which covers the area from Towai in the south, to Taupo Bay in the North and coast to coast.
Our equipment is delivered in our Hospice vans by a group of dedicated volunteers to homes throughout the mid-north.
This position will require some heavy lifting and possibly assisting with the deliveries, if necessary, so a clean valid driver’s licence and a police check are required.
You will need to be:
- Computer literate
- An excellent communicator and organiser
- A detail person
- Systems orientated
- Physically fit

We are currently short on volunteers in the following areas:
- Drivers - to help deliver and collect our loan equipment using the Hospice Van (beds, commodes, shower chairs etc)
- Kerikeri Distribution Centre – sorting donated goods ready for resale
- Hospice Shops – Kaikohe, Kawakawa and Kerikeri – working in our Retail Stores
