Bereavement support group - starting again from April 2023

We are excited to advise our bereavement support groups will be recommencing shortly after a COVID-related hiatus.

The Family Support Team at Hospice Mid-Northland are here to work with you and your whānau to understand and work through your grief.

Starting: Thursday 20 April 2023

Time: 11am to 1pm (morning tea/light refreshments provided)

Venue: Te Rangimarie Cottage (located behind the Hospice Mid-Northland office at 464 Kerikeri Road.)

Massage

Unconditional Touch massage is designed to relax you.  Loving Touch massage therapy is used to help alleviate stress, tension and soreness and to increase blood flow to the muscles.

Reflexology

Gentle massage of the reflexes in the foot, hand or ears which helps to restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium.  Reflexology is specially recommended to alleviate tension and improve blood circulation, promotes relaxation and well-being.  

Facials/Foot Treatments

Local beauty therapists offer mini facials (cleanse and facial massage) or foot treatments such as soak, scrub and massage. These all assist to restore balance and wellbeing. It's a time to relax, unwind and destress.

Reiki

Holistic 'life-energy' treatments soothe tension and balance disharmony in the body.  Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force and can provide relaxation, energy, assist with pain, anxiety and promote release of emotion.  Reiki is received through a series of light hand placements on the person's fully clothed body.
