Tyrepower New Zealand has partnered with Hospice New Zealand to help raise much needed funds. Since October 2018 for every Cooper Tyre sold at Tyrepower Kerikeri, Hospice Mid-Northland receives $5 per tyre. A sewing class is teaching male prisoners valuable life skills, as well as helping them contribute to the community. On Tuesday we were so excited to receive a cheque from Marietjie Crichton, Northland Waste, to the amount of $10,005.50! For the sale of every green rubbish bag, Hospice receives 5 cents. Last year Hospice Mid-Northland were the recipients of a Harcourts Foundation Grant of $5428, of which we applied to be able to purchase 2 hospital beds for our patients.
