Tyrepower New Zealand has partnered with Hospice New Zealand to help raise much needed funds. Since October 2018 for every Cooper Tyre sold at Tyrepower Kerikeri, Hospice Mid-Northland receives $5 per tyre. Northland prisoners find sewing inspiring, despite initially considering it 'women's work'

A sewing class is teaching male prisoners valuable life skills, as well as helping them contribute to the community. Despite initially considering sewing "women's work", a group of prisoners at Northland Region Corrections Facility at Ngāwhā are now dedicated to the sewing workshops five mornings a week. Hospice Mid-Northland celebrates 30 years in the Mid North area!

Harcourts Foundation Grant to purchase 2 new hosptal beds

Last year Hospice Mid-Northland were the recipients of a Harcourts Foundation Grant of $5428, of which we applied to be able to purchase 2 hospital beds for our patients.
